After a really hot date, Anna

which seems so easy turns out to be quite difficult for the goofy of David… |
SCENE BREAKDOWN
|
SCENE ONE: INT. APARTMENT |
David and Anna have just finished
their date when Anna bites David. At first he is shocked, but the he realizes
he is now a vampire. He learns that Anna is an old vampire and she is in love
with David. Now they can be together for all eternity. Anna shows him the
wonders of being a vampire, but if David wants that life he must do a very
“simple” task: bite his first victim. If he does not do so, he will die. |
|
SCENE TWO: EXT. STREET |
Anna and David are trying to find
a victim for him. They run into an old lady who is walking her dog. Anna
tells David that she is a easy target so David approaches her, but the little
dog turns out to be a furious beast, and bites David. Anna and David leave
that place and they run into a girl who is crying because her boyfriend has
just dumped her. They start talking to her and David tries to bite her when
the boyfriend suddenly shows up and starts kicking and hitting David thinking
that he is hitting on the girl. |
|
FINAL SCENE |
David is desperate as dawn is
approaching and he has not bitten anyone. Suddenly a mugger arrives and
threatens them. David sees his chance to survive and bites the mugger.
Finally David becomes a total vampire and Anna can spend the eternity with
him. But at the last moment David watches two pretty girls walking by and he
stares at their asses. Maybe they’ll be together for all eternity… but how? |

Hi Pascual!
ResponderEliminarI really like your play outline. I think it is suitable for both 4º and 1º Bach and I am sure the students will like the plot a lot since it will definitely remind them of The Twilight Saga. The play seems appropiate to be performed by the students as the plot is not too complicated. I think I would introduce a few more characters so that more students in the class can participate in the acting out of the play. Adding another scene in which David makes another attempt to bite somebody else could be a good idea. Anyway, I quite like the play and especially the open ending.
I think it is very motivating for students!! I also like the open ending...hope we will learn more some day....
ResponderEliminarI think the number of characters is fine, because not all students have to act...there are lots of things to do when performing a play...
Good job!!
I have become interested in your play outline because it also aims at 4th ESO students like mine. I think it is appropriate for this agegroup because the topic is very appealing and they would love to act it out. What I like most about your outline is that it has a touch of humour. There is an important link between humour and education since humour helps create a learning environment that helps students learn better. Thanks for sharing!
ResponderEliminarSure your students will love this play! I think it's funny and very appropriate for their age since they like vampires as much as falling in love, it's a winning combination! Besides, it teaches them that we should never take anything for granted. And this applies to the character of Anna as well!
